"The wonderful thing about the Chocolate poem is the (unconscious?) parallel between lovers devouring each other and your protagonist eating the chocolates; the obvious foolishness of his question to the chocolate wrappers and the less obviously foolish cry of the break-up survivor of "What did I do?"

Another break-up survivor soldiers on. Following her split with boyfriend Olivier Martinez (who's been accused of cheating on her with Pen?lope Cruz - although the couple's people have denied the allegations) Kylie Minogue made her first public appearance this week for the opening of 'Kylie - The Exhibition' at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. The exhibition, which has put the noses of museum snobs out-of-joint, celebrates the style icon's costumes (including her infamous gold hot pants), music videos, photos and music spanning Kylie?s career. The singer put on a brave face and looked radiant and confident in a flowing purple frock. The exhibition runs until June 10 so, if you?re in London, give it a squiz."

Mine's was an arranged marriage with Agnita Saxena, daughter of an ex-serviceman of army. Well for me it wasn't exactly arranged as it was love at first sight. I found her hot-tempered, negative minded, stubborn, careless, immature, no courtesy, money minded, materialistic. She is only daughter and hence pampered by her parents. Her parents are not strong enough to show her the right path. She made me wait for 2 years on the pretext that my income is low and when she married me she left me in 20 days and now it is over a year she has not bothered to speak to me or my family members. We are divorced now. God help the man who will get into her life.

hey im 15years old and im going through a realationship hell. i dont know if he wants to be with me. he keeps on saying oh he wants a break. wants to be free and live life more freely. i dont understand him, like hell say one thing and the another. yea i admit our "realationship" is like ... . but i got faith and hope that i could change, i could do it. but right now im confused and hurt. people would say little girls like me dont know what love is. i know what it is. i just need an adivce. just a map of something. yea one thing hes 19 and lives 300miles away from me. but does that mean its over????

I've been dating this guy for almost three months now, and our relationship has grown in so little time. I haven't seen him for a week now, and it's driving me crazy. Especially, when i'm here in an isolated community of 400 people. We've been fighting over stupid things, and it's my fault what has happened between us. I can say I'm spoiled, and when I don't get my way, I start complaining or wine (not sure how to spell that one) about everything. This guy is the greatest person I've ever met. He treated me like a princess, he cared for me, he told me he loved me every minute of the day. I really miss him. I miss everything about him. What do I do? Because now I'm running away from problems by leaving to a city...

ive been with my boyfriend for a little over 7 years. i loved him will all my heart and still do. the thing is that now he has odd jobs does think about our future. to top it of he has been physical and today we fought because of something dumb. his ex some how always ends up in the argument allong with everything else. i had to break it off finally, i finally had the courage but why do i feel so terrible. i know wel all need someone to love and care for us as much as we do them but enough is enough............ what do you do to forget let it go

I love him so much and just cant even not think about him. I love him so much and i feel so lost without him. what do i do?

Hey all.
My girlfriend of 4 months just dumped me tonight and I feel nothing but sadness. It all started when she showed me photos from her younger days and asked if I would have still wanted to be with her. I said yes after I got to know her, though she took it the wrong way - met in a nightclub and something ... ed between us straight away that night.
I'm just totally shocked that this spiraled into an argument where I was groveling for forgiveness and she didn't care, then when she said sorry I was still hurting from what she said and used it against me.
I was dumped by her this morning, then in the afternoon she wants us together, I tired to tell her I'd need a day or two just to calm down from being suddenly dumped then wanted some time to myself to be cool, but she was having none of it.
I turned up at her downstep tonight - to try and sort things out. Instead, I was greeted with a heartless one minute conversation where she didn't care for what I said. I couldn't bring myself to think about not given her my presents for Valentine's Day, so I gave them to her tonight: every episode of "Friends" on DVD, a Kate Nash album and a huge card saying exactly how much I love her. I don't want a constant reminder of her not wanting me in my room all day, every day.
Michelle really hurt me, I loved her with every ounce of my heart and soul - then like that she ignores my apology without caring that I need her more than anything in this world. I've been hurt by past relationships though never one where everyone I spoke to said I've done the right things and it still failed.
I'm gonna listen to "How Can You Mend A Broken Heart" by Al Green for a few days. Anyone with advice please email me: shinydiscoball@hotmail.co.uk

I've been with my BF for 14 yrs, we have 2 children together. Since I've met him...he's been a cheater. It was different when we were younger bc back then..we were young, experimenting, that's what I told myself. Now that we've had children I expect different behavior. Recently we split and I moved out because he was seeing someone behind my back and got her pregnant. Unfortunately, she lost the baby. I love him with everything I've got. I love our family life, however...I'm stuck on whether or not I should just give up. He's trying to get me back and is realizing this situation was "the straw that broke the camel's back." He's being everything I've always needed him to be now that he doesn't have me. I spend alot of time in the house we just bought and at times, living life normally. What do I do? I want to move on and live my own life like he has all along but he's all I've known since I was a teenager. Is it habit or love?

hi umm my ex boyfrined and i were alrigt the first cuple months like 4 and then i ended up cheaten on him and ... and i loved him and he took me bak and stuff like 3 times and then he dumped me and now im dating a boy named matt who i think im in love with but idk....... and my ex is REally bumming .....Wat to do??

23 years as a soldier of love. Devastated. Wounded. Survival was all I could manage. Now 23 years later, I have had several loves, none as deep as the first one... From this persepective, I know more than ever what I had ... loving her changed me forever. Did you ever think that heaven and hell were so close to each other? God bless the broken hearted.
