"How to get over a break up and emerge
a winner
A necessary part of dating is breaking
up. Not all relationships are meant to be. If the person you love leaves
you it often feels like the end of the world. But hey, its not! Did you know
that Swans mate for life and when they lose their lifetime mate they become
vicious and destructive? It's unbearable to be around them. Fortunately for
us humans there's more than one mate out there for us. And we have the intrinsic
ability to mend our hearts and get on with our lives.
While initially we may lose sleep
and even our appetites over a break up we eventually find a way out of our
grief. Time is a natural healer and you can do your part to make the transition
to being 'happily single' again easier. Here is a list of things to consider
doing to cope with a break up:
I. HEAL YOURSELF
1. Open up your heart to your mom
or your closest friend
2. Make a List of His/Her
Weaknesses
3. Write down all the Negative Aspects/
Bad Memories.
4. How you got
Dumped
5. Introspect
6. Get rid of your
Hostility
7. Seek help from a
Counselor
8. Look
for support Online
9. Put things in
Perspective
10. Pray"

Hey, I'm no expert in the matter
but there was a couple of things i did when i got dumped by my girlfriend
of two years that really helped. Firstly never underestimate the power of
an image change, spoil yourself rotten! Secondly, Do something you've always
said you would do, I decided to start learning Arabic and met so many new
people by doing that. Thirdly, try and take comfort in your friends, they
have to be the crutch for you in these sort of situations. Fourthly, Delete
all contact numbers, email addresses and MSN listings, this will help avoid
drunken communications. and Fifthly... Smile!!! No matter how bad things
are at the moment they will always get better, its a cliche but time does
heal all wounds...Hope this helps!
hey, i know what u mean. it is very
hard getting over someone, esp when u have been with them for quite a long
time. u get attached and just become used to ..well... what u were used to!
(if that makes sense!) but u always have to remember that you only live once
and shouldnt be scared of taking a chance. i have heard this quote before
"the brave may not live forever, but the scared do not live at
all".
It maybe difficult, but you should
try to make it out into a happy situation: try to remember the lovely memories
u had together and instead of thinking "oh i wish i had that again" u shud
try to think "wow, im glad i experienced that in the first place, we had
a nice time together. he made me happy and i made him happy and now it is
time to make someone new happy and for them to make me happy and i will have
lots more lovely memories to think about" as you deserve it. and on your
death bed, u will be able to say how fulfiled your life was! (sorry!)u cant
live in the past, u have to think of yourself now, in the
present."

"How to get over a break up?? What
are the best ways to not feel sorry for myself and not to blame faith on
it? Bcs I believe in faith. How to get over a break up in a positive
way??
When people break up with their mates
they let their memory take over their life, meaning ... most of the time
they are thinking of the good times, of the nice songs they both like, of
the restaurants they used to visit.
When I break up with somebody, every
time one of those "nice" memories come to mind I think of the reason/s we
broke up and problem solved. Time to move on to better
things."

I feel lonely without her, she became my best friend...I know she is suffering so much too. Her decision was based on very circumstantial facts. She is 48, I am 32. She has been here before, and knows how to deal with it. I have only loved 2 women ever. She was and still is my Princess. Liz I miss you so much little girl. I love you always!!!
